Daniel Paavola

Daniel Paavola grew up on a dairy farm near New York Mills, Minnesota.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in from Moorhead State University and Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  He continued with a Master of Theology degree from Princeton Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey.  He serve4d as pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Butternut, Wisconsin, for 12 years before going to Concordia University as a professor in theology.  He completed a Ph.D. through Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri.  His family includes his wife, Holly and three children, Christy, Stephen, and Nicole.  One lazy tomcat, Rocket, fills out the Paavola household in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin.  His hobbies include motorcycling, restoring and driving his 1917 Model T Ford car, woodworking, and running.
